Abstract

This study investigated employees' perceptions of sustainable work practices and their relationships with retention intention, organisational commitment, and job satisfaction in the banking sector. total of 143 public sector bank employees’ data was collected using a structured questionnaire. An advanced statistical tool (cluster analysis using the Squared Euclidean Distance and Average Linkage methods) was used to identify distinct groups of employees based on their organisational attitudes and perceptions of sustainability. The results revealed 8 distinct employee clusters with varying levels of sustainability awareness, organisational commitment, emotional attachment, and other factors. This study also showed that employees with higher levels of sustainability awareness exhibit higher organisational commitment, work engagement, and long-term retention intention.
